The Green Hydrogen IGAT Project
At the beginning of 2023, the Campania Region issued a call (following the implementation of the NRRP) for the competitive grant of non-repayable funds to companies that had designed and implemented "Green Hydrogen" plants in abandoned industrial areas.
IGAT has developed a project that includes the installation of a field of photovoltaic panels, an energy storage system, an electrolyzer with its control system, a compressor, loading bays for garbage trucks, loading ramps for hydrogen cylinders, a storage area for empty and full cylinder packs, and a loading and unloading area for cylinder packs.
The application was approved, and IGAT has received a grant to fully cover the project.

The Edison plant to provide renewable energy to IGAT INDUSTRIA GAS TECNICI – SIAD Group starts operation
The 10 MW photovoltaic plant, located in the province of Alessandria, will integrate the energy needs of the IGAT industrial plant, part of the SIAD Group, in Pignataro Maggiore (Caserta) with green energy and prevent the emission of over 6,000 tonnes of CO₂ equivalents into the atmosphere each year
