IGAT S.p.A., a company of the SIAD Group, has a production site of 42,800 m2 that produces oxygen, nitrogen, and argon.
The company was founded in January 1991, and the industrial plant, consisting of an air separation unit and a liquefaction system for oxygen, nitrogen, and argon, was inaugurated in 1995.
It operates by physically separating the gases that make up the air (oxygen, nitrogen, and argon) at extremely low temperatures and has been in continuous operation since its start.
Since 2020, IGAT S.p.A. has been part of the SIAD Group.

The IGAT Sites
Produces industrial gases oxygen, nitrogen, and argon.
It also manages a vacuum pressure swing adsorption (VPSA) system for the Potenza steel mill, now operated by a major steel group, in service since 2001.
The geographical location of IGAT has always been strategically important: it is situated in an industrial area close to the highway that connects Rome and Naples.
The Pignataro Maggiore Plant
The production facility, located in a strategic and well-connected industrial area, efficiently produces industrial gases (oxygen, nitrogen, and argon).
The large tanks for liquefied gases ensure a continuous and reliable supply, meeting the needs of various applications.
The Potenza Plant
The evolution in the metallurgical sector requires innovative solutions for the production and supply of oxygen, essential in steel melting processes.
With the implementation of our highly efficient 'on site' VPSA plant, a steel mill has optimized on-site oxygen production, ensuring purity and performance ideal for its operations.
Switching from an external supply system to an integrated solution has not only improved operational efficiency, but has also reduced environmental impact and energy costs.

Authorizations and Certifications
IGAT began the certification process for its Management System in 2000, obtaining its first certification (UNI EN ISO 9001:2000).
Currently, an Integrated Quality and Environmental Management System is in place, compliant with the UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 and 14001:2015 standards.
IGAT is authorized to produce Liquid Oxygen, Liquid Argon, and Liquid Nitrogen as Food Gases.
Recently, certification was also obtained for the Nitrogen Medical Device product in accordance with the UNI EN ISO 13485:2021 standard.

The Edison plant to provide renewable energy to IGAT INDUSTRIA GAS TECNICI – SIAD Group starts operation
The 10 MW photovoltaic plant, located in the province of Alessandria, will integrate the energy needs of the IGAT industrial plant, part of the SIAD Group, in Pignataro Maggiore (Caserta) with green energy and prevent the emission of over 6,000 tonnes of CO₂ equivalents into the atmosphere each year
